NYR vs Seattle Kraken 10/31 Photo Gallery: Inside Look at the Climate Pledge Arena, The Rangers, Good Eats & More

Another road-trip for yours truly and another victory, as the Rangers escaped Seattle on Sunday night with a 3-1 victory!

Greetings and salutations everyone and welcome to another blog here on BlueCollarBlueShirts.com. This is another photo gallery blog, recapping my experience at Seattle’s “Climate Pledge Arena”, where after Sunday, October 31st, 2021 – the New York Rangers are undefeated in.

Depending on when you are viewing this particular blog entry, my NYR/SEA 10/31 game review blog will soon be posted, if it isn’t already. Check the main page for the review, which should be posted sometime on Monday, November 1st, as I’ll be working on that game review while flying back to New York. (I need something to do, while trying to kill six hours on an airplane!)

Outside of posting pictures from the Rangers 3-1 victory over the Kraken, I’ve also included some of my restaurant experiences from this trip, which I’ll talk about in-detail on the game review blog.

However, for right now, I just wanted to get this easy photo gallery blog out of the way first, and then tackle the game review and the Seattle experience – an experience I wouldn’t necessarily recommend.

Without further ado, here’s Seattle and the Climate Pledge Arena:

(Of note, it may take a second or two for all of these pictures to load properly.)

The Rangers got “Kraken” on Sunday night, har har har!

  1. Every Ranger post game headline this year so far could be this one.

“They won didn’t they, so quit complaining!”

Every game is all Igor and then some individual heroics late in the game……”Igor give us a shutout or a maximum of 1 goal……and we got this!!

    heh

Also this team has been a huge bore to watch…..whoever keeps hitting the snooze button on the bench should cut it out

    1. LOL, you’re right about the headlines. In my new blog, I just said the Igor praise can be redundant, but what else can we say right now?

  2. Sean,, I’ll prolly post this again when your entry on the Kraken game itself is posted ….. but I thought it was hilarious last night on the postgame show when Hank twisted himself into a knot trying to avoid crediting Igor for an amazing steal of two points.

He had the Rangers playing a great game defensively, said their structure was tremendous, was blind to the repeated ‘Grade A’ scoring chances Seattle was getting throughout the second and third periods.

Anyhow, I think he’s a natural on TV, and I would love to see him jettison Vally off the telecast. But he’s gotta get more comfortable with Shesterkin perhaps turning into the very sort of incredible goalie he was when at his peak back in the day.

    1. I didn’t see the post-game show at the bar. I’ll have to be more alert, because from what I saw previously, he was praising Igor, especially with that Toronto game.
