One thing is for certain following the events of Saturday, October 14th – I’ll never be shocked or scared of the infamous cannon in Columbus ever again. After all, the Blue Jackets, who scored five goals in their 5-3 win over the pathetic Blueshirts, was shooting off their union artillery all night long! I felt like I was at a July 4th block party! Ugh!
Greetings and salutations everyone and welcome to another blog here on BlueCollarBlueShirts.com. What a waste of a weekend!
That said, it wasn’t all bad – only the final result (5-3 loss) was.
Then again, Zac Jones, subbing in for the “day-to-day” Ryan Lindgren (what a great night for his agent, as #55 is due for a new contract at the end of this season), was as bad as it gets.
As I sit here in my hotel room in Columbus, Ohio, and with a flight to board in just several hours time; at the present moment, I figure that I will share all of my pictures with you from the Buckeye State, then come sometime Sunday afternoon, and once back home at my humble abode – I’ll explain all of my pictures, talk about Blue Jacket fans, give a review of the Nationwide Arena and yep, you know it, talk about that debacle from Saturday night.
Originally, I wanted to write the GAME REVIEW blog tonight, but it’s just impossible to do on this 1990s laptop. Simply put, the old girl doesn’t have much left to give!
Rather than driving myself batty, and almost as irate as watching this game from Saturday night; instead, it’s easier to write long-form on my personal computer at home – one that’s “only” ten-years younger than my archaic laptop!
(And yep – for a ten-time award winning author, you’d think I’d have both a computer and a laptop from this era – but you’d be wrong – and just as wrong as I was about the Rangers winning their second game of the season – UGH!)
At this time, here are all of my pictures from my weekend in Columbus, with a full review to come on this site on Sunday:

Sean – Thanks for all the photos. The upside down pic of you next to the cannon is the perfect comment on the game.
LOL, sorry about that, my laptop sucks and I couldn’t fix it. New blog up now – with the photo correction.
